Honeymoon!
Liz and I went to northwestern Vermont for our brief but glorious honeymoon. We stayed at this amazing house, removed from the world but still very modern and slick. Pregnant lady!
Yeah, me and my fiancee Elisabeth Fairchild are getting married AND having a baby. Can’t fuck with that! Here are a couple of quick sketches of her lounging like a preggers.
Draw faster, ye slug.
I’m trying to sketch out the world a little faster, focusing less on all the little details and perfect perspective and putting my attention on swift, loose and messy documentation. So far, I like what it’s doing, and I hope it can inform my work outside the sketchbook.
Actual whale watching.
This is what the whale watching trip was really like. It was amazing.

Just some straight up observational sketching, folks. My dad and I went up to Fort McClary State Park in Kittery, Maine to do some lighting tests for a photo-shoot he’s working on. In the meantime I managed to harvest a couple of quick sketches of the old Revolutionary War/Civil War Fort architecture.
