I’ve been following your blog, and one thing that strikes me is how hard you are on yourself about not posting enough! Too hard, in my opinion. While you are right that maintaining a good drawing regimen is worthwhile, a good posting regimen seems much less so. You don’t want to be chained to an internet obligation–it eats up so much precious time and energy that could be spent observing and discovering the things that are why you draw in the first place. Stop beating yourself up, man. Your viewers can wait, and your life, the fodder for your creativity, can not.

Thanks so much for your speaking out against my ridiculous flagellation. You are of course right, and I’ve discovered it myself after scrolling through my posts. I will now make a greater effort to not beat myself up for my shitty posting schedule, because really, I’m getting the drawing done, and that’s what matters.
