American Revolution sketch dump.

Lots of research, lots of writing, lots of fun. The story is finally coming together, the characters are finally beginning to breathe. Here are some sketches to prove I haven’t been just sitting on my ass since I nixed the daily sketch post. There’s a lot more, especially writing, but if I showed all of it there’d be no reason to read it once it hit the shelves.

Many of these characters are real people, discovered in the amazing book Memorial Album of Revolutionary Soldiers compiled by Florence Hazen Miller, and then fictionalized for my purposes. Usual Knapp is my favorite so far.
