J.L. Bell of Boston 1775 gave an excellent talk on Washington’s forays into intelligence gathering last evening in Cambridge. Bell shared the fruits of his historical detective work, revealing the names (and more enjoyably, excellent character descriptions) of some previously undisclosed spies in Washington’s employ. A very enjoyable and informative talk all around, and I finally got to meet the guy I’ve been harassing over twitter for a while now.
